Meditate, exercise, take a nap, look at funny pictures of cats on the internet; do anything that takes your mind off of your stressors for a little while.
Sexual assault is a risk factor for suicide. For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we want to give a shout-out to the brave survivors of sexual assault who come forward with their stories, and to the amazing organizations that provide support and bring awareness to the facts surrounding sexual assault. The more informed the public is about the facts and circumstances surrounding sexual assault, the better equipped we will be to make the changes necessary to prevent assaults in the future.
